Innovative Project Lab
New-Gen IEDC organizes innovetive project exhibitions every winter and summer semesters. Nurturing the innovative ideas of students has paved way for product development and increase in the number of entrepreneurs from institute. Innovative project lab is unique initiative to nurture the budding engineers. Students are at liberty to conceptualize, design and implement solutions to societal problems with concerns for environment. Selected projects are converted into product prototypes under the guidance of ED cell.
The Project Exhibition was graced by the presence of two eminent personalities. The Chief Guest for the Mela was Mr. C. S. Srikanth, Director-Technology AutoTEC Systems Pvt Ltd. Mr.VinayPranesh, Principal ConsultantHoneywell was the Guest of Honour. 32 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event.

The selected participants exhibited their project in the Exhibition. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Feasibility of the project, the Innovativeness of the Idea &Usefulness to the society. As the judges where from Intellectual Property rights background, they also evaluated the projects based on novelty for patenting purpose.

Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd,Bangalore & Dr.S.Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Possibility of conversion of project in to product, high innovative ideas, Feasibility and Use to the society.
